Policy
Staff are expected to maintain a clean, tidy, and professional appearance at all times, as this helps to inspire confidence and trust. A carer’s presentation is often seen by clients as a reflection of their competence and the quality of care they provide.
Staff must wear the company uniform and identity badge. The Company uniform colours are Burgundy and cream.
Male Carers should wear navy blue or black trousers/shorts (NOT Jeans), and dark coloured shoes with closed toes.
Female Carers should wear navy blue or black coloured trousers, shorts or a skirt below the knee (NOT Jeans or leggings). Shoes should be dark in colour, and flat shoes are recommended.
Staff must wear protective equipment for all relevant tasks, as per infection control guide lines.
Long hair should be tied back when delivering client care and food prep.
Male staff should either be clean shaven or have a neatly trimmed beard/moustache.
Staff should keep finger nails short and clean. False nails or coloured nail varnish should be covered with gloves whilst providing care or preparing food.
