Dress Code

Care In Your Home Ltd places the utmost importance on ensuring that all employees present a professional and respectful image that aligns with our clients’ expectations.

This policy outlines our dress code standards, designed to promote a positive and professional appearance while prioritising health and safety, security, and infection control.

Policy

• Staff are expected to maintain a clean, tidy, and professional appearance at all times, as this helps to inspire confidence and trust. A carer’s presentation is often seen by clients as a reflection of their competence and the quality of care they provide.

•  Staff must wear the company uniform and identity badge. The Company uniform colours are Burgundy and cream.

•  Male Carers should wear navy blue or black trousers/shorts (NOT Jeans), and dark coloured shoes with closed toes.

•  Female Carers should wear navy blue or black coloured trousers, shorts or a skirt below the knee (NOT Jeans or leggings). Shoes should be dark in colour, and flat shoes are recommended. 

• Staff must wear protective equipment for all relevant tasks, as per infection control guide lines.

•  Long hair should be tied back when delivering client care and food prep. 

•  Male staff should either be clean shaven or have a neatly trimmed beard/moustache.

•  Staff should keep finger nails short and clean. False nails or coloured nail varnish should be covered with gloves whilst providing care or preparing food.
